I'm 62, a Democrat, and a U.S. Army veteran. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Ottawa University in Arizona and my Master's from the University of the Incarnate Word in Texas, where I studied Journalism and Communications. But the real learning came from 45 years on the ground as an investigative journalist and columnist, exposing corruption and bad government at all levels - from local zoning boards and city councils to members of Congress and presidential candidates.
I serve my country, not a president. I follow laws, not lawmakers. I speak truth, not rhetoric. I drive a truck, own guns, go to church, and always had, and always will have dogs. I'm no millionaire and I don't own a business to write laws I can profit from.

I have a standing challenge to voters: Talk with me for five minutes about any subject you choose, and I'll show you I'm no cartoon stereotype. I only ask that your subject be a local, county or Georgia state issue, and not national trigger issues, identity politics, or buzzwords that I can't do anything about.
I'm not patterned or patterning after ANYONE. My campaign and my ideas are strictly focused on Georgia's state-level and local issues throughout the 51st District, in particular. I'm going to serve Georgia and all residents of District 51 for their benefit, and nobody else's.
I believe the oaths to support and defend the Constitutions of the United States and Georgia are sacred, and that the government we fund should serve us and keep all of us healthy, comfortable and thriving.
